RJ Carrier Duquette (aka Mister Mistress)

RJ Carrier Duquette, known on stage as Mister Mistress, is a dancer and performer whose artistry blends the sensuality of heels movement with the many styles found in the Seattle dance scene. Originally from New Baltimore, Michigan, RJ moved to Seattle in 2019, where he took his first dance class and has since pursued dance full-time.
RJ's dance background includes training with the acclaimed ZTHEORY heels dance company, where he’s learned and applied latin-ballroom influenced technique for heels dance. He also works with Seattle-based entertainment company Maison De V as a dancer, character actor, and talent manager, and with Babylon Burlesque, a Seattle-Based Drag and Burlesque company.
In addition to his performance career, RJ is a Pilates instructor at Pivot Movement Studio, where he’s deepened his knowledge of body mechanics. He has also trained with Zay’s Baes and XZQT Dance, further expanding his range and skillset in commercial and contemporary dance styles.
With his unique blend of burlesque, heels, Pilates, and contemporary dance influences, RJ hopes to inspire dancers to explore their potential and express their artistry with strength and confidence.
